Drawing from A Deeper Well

November is a month on the cusp of the holidays.  With it, we enter a season of intentional gratitude for the good gifts we have been given.  Join us in worship as we talk about how we enjoy, develop, and share these gifts: in other words, how we are stewards of God’s goodness in our lives and for our community and beyond.  Beginning with the story of Jesus offering living water to the woman at the well, we will look at how we are invited to draw from the depth of God’s goodness to enjoy and share his salvation.

Pastor Nancy will share her stewardship journey as we conclude our stewardship series and make our financial pledge for the coming year.

Please be sure to bring the following to church with you this Sunday:  your Inventory of God’s Wonders Card, your Deep Gladness and Gifts Card and your completed Estimate of Giving Card for 2025.  We will celebrate Holy Communion and you will have an opportunity to place these items on the Altar as you come to receive Communion.

Join us in this special time as we express our appreciation to God for all that He has done and is doing for us.

Season’s Greetings: An Advent Study of Christmas Letters from Those Who Were There

Sundays at Noon November 24th – December 15th

Think you know about the birth of Jesus?  Just wait until you hear the story from folks who were there!  Join us on Sundays after worship for a light lunch and the reading of a letter written from the point of view of biblical characters forever changed by that miraculous birth.  The letters are taken from Season’s Greetings, by Ruth Boling, and will be read dramatically with conversation to follow.   There’s no cost for the study or lunch, but please RSVP soon so we can plan properly. Sunday

December 22nd

In spite of what the song says, we know that Christmas is not always the “happiest time of the year.”  In fact, when we’re missing people we love or facing difficult situations, it can be a painful time.  This year, we’ll gather in the sanctuary on December 22nd at 5PM for a quiet service of comfort and reflection, remembering the promise of Christ birth:  Emmanuel, God is with us; we are not alone.
